Menomonee Falls, WI – AFLA offered a new educational opportunity for members this year with the Forum on Big Data. Registrants were able to participate in one of two live audiences, or by live-streaming the event through their web browser. Topics included Strengthening Driver Safety with Big Data, Operational Efficiencies: The Problem with Big Data and Using Big Data to Leverage TCO.
Reviews of the event included comments from Ted Roberts, AFLA Communications Chair and President of Fleet Management Weekly:
“One of the key takeaways for me was that – although Big Data is about technological and business model innovation – it’s also about far more than technology. It’s about people, it’s about processes, and it is likely to drive a big culture shift at your organization.”
